Talking HAHN RACECRAFT 2.4 Automatic turbo fully functional!!!

Well, it's been a long time trying to get this all together and now it's done and it's great! Today was a bad day to get on the dyno since it was 95 degrees out and really humid but time was of the essence and it needed done, i think still great results all considered. Boost is at 8 psi now, boost fueler is running great. The car sounds great and so far all CEL's are staying off after getting them cleared by the dealer. I would highly suggest this kit to anyone looking for a great powerful fun ride. Well enough talking and heres the good stuff. Any questions are welcome.

Nice man. I swear if they had a kit that came with more HP than that I'd go out and pick up a 2.4L =)

But 230 Seems Low Doesnt It. I Thought It Makes More Hp Than That. It Says That The Kit Will Put You At 290 Hp I Dont Think You Would Have Lost 60 Hp To Drive Tran?

Well, keep in mind im no producer lol just wanted to get you something to see.
The numbers are low due to the very hot weather and also notice that this dyno did not go to redline which means it makes more peak horsepower but it was just a quick dyno session i snuck into since i wasnt scheduled to go in, not much tuning done just verified safety. i plan on turning the boost up to 10 psi in the fall and getting back on the dyno to fine tune more. Im hoping to hit the track next week so ill update on that as well.

this is on a mustang dyno which shows real world numbers, its really just an ego booster if you dyno on a dynojet. For all purposes though i would say compared to my n/a dyno that i had with mustang and dynojet numbers there was about a 30 hp difference between the 2. a dyno jet would probably read this same hp on the same temp day at about 264whp 274 wtq. thats my guess.

So a 100hp increase over stock is low? Ummmm... yeah right. Way o go man nice #'s! And I don't think a staged SS/SC would be out of the question for you kills colume.

LOW????

230 on a mustang in 95 degree weather at 8psi. Eh, not really. He can go to 10 psi in better weather on a dyno jet and probably be in the mid 260-270s.

230 is a damn good number considering your intake temps were probably well over 140.
hot day=low power especially on a dyno.

in the fall when it starts getting in the 60's i'll re dyno and up the boost to 10 psi and that should be more than adequate power levels for me until i pay the car off. my attention is gonna shift toward suspension after i get out of the debt this project put me into lol

during a "good" weather day the kit will put down 241 whp and 290 at the crank as put out by Hahn at only 8 PSI . if you think about it... a Stock Evo IX runs 18-19 PSI and runs about the same whp and 286 at the crank. just think if you turned the boost up to 18, upgrade internals with a good tune and voila... Evo's and STi's will be seein your hazards alot more.

to the OP congrats on finishing up the build. i know youve waited a long time for this and i admire that you were one of the first (if not the first) to put out your all to get a 2.4 turboed. go out their and rack up them kills

well nowadays not many people run that many mods on the Evo that i know of... reflash, TBE, TT, TBC, BOV, headers, suspension. thats about all ive ever seen. but you know once you start getting inside that beastly 2.4 and changing the organs youll be beyond the Evo at less PSI. turn it up so more... then some more... then some more...lol but not too high!

Great job, Doug! It's very exciting for me to see you succeed with our product so quickly, and with such excellent results! Those are indeed respectable numbers in light of the boost level, conservative AFR ratio, and poor weather conditions.

I'd like to point out the Air-Fuel ratio graph (the red line) shown above...super-consistent, and super-safe.

We've discovered why you needed to have the case relearn done by the dealer, and will be able to prevent this from recurring on future orders.

Keep up the good work! I will get you and my son Adam on the phone together before you take it to the track for some launching and shifting advice. As Adam ran his Cobalt on stock tires, you may well beat his 13.7 with better tires and a touch more boost!
