I like the look of the HALO Headlights, and I want the HID Conversion kit...

The QUESTION is, has ANYONE gotten the HALO Headlights to work with their hid conversion kit...


because i know with the halo's you have to do some sort of wiring, so thats why i ask.

 

Almost every person with the Halo/Projectors from Ebay runs HIDs. The HID system is a simple plug n play. Just aligning them properly is the real bitch.

 

I actually heard that nobody runs HID on the ebay projectors.

I think you have to cut them up and do crazyness.

One person is running HID's in their Halos. I believe theres a thread under the apperance area where we talk about it. Hes supposedly going to be doing a write up. Unfortunatly I can't remember his name.

i got the HID's and i'm well aware of the massive improvement in light output you get but i want to see if there is any drop of out put and what kind focus and cut off this give with HIDS

 

I'm still waiting for his how to.

 

Can you tell us what brand HID's you have and what bulb brand and temp you have? That might help with those saying the bulbs are a bit too big.

 

I got the VisionBulbs.com kit... DOn't know exactly what brand i know it came in a blue box... the box is in the atic and im too lazy to go up there to read the brand on the box, so just go to VisionBulbs.com and take a look on the kit that they offer... My kit is the H1 6000K

 

Not bad $260+shipping. How much of a bitch was it to align them?
