Heads up for everyone
Probably like most every single GM concept car I have seen, it cannot be registered for street use. The DMV probably saw a vin that doesn't link it to a cobalt and they assumed it was stolen. Your friend should have done more research
That is the cobalt 272 concept, its a shame that is has been screwed up. I got to see this car in action about 6 years ago, and it was awesome looking and would move out quick when the GMPD guys were getting on it

Ya youre right. I guess if it wasn't smashed then it would cause you can't get parts. **** buy a motor for $1000 and throw it in. I know you can't register it but make it a track beast haha.
I swear I saw this car on eBay like a year or so ago for like $25k. Mint ofcourse.
Ditto!

That is one ugly riced out Cobalt. Engine does not run, its been wrecked (and not fixed), ugly bodykit, you can not get it titled,......i dont see that worth over $500.00
Im all for helping establish roots for the Cobalts and heritage like the muscle cars do but this isnt worth much in my book. Better off getting a used 2006 SS/SC.

This car was originally sold at a Barrett Jackson auction in Florida (I think) then was stolen. It was listed on A Maryland/DC Craigslist and bought by my buddy Brad Smith about 6 months ago. When he went to register the car he found out it was stolen. The car is now being sold by the rightful owner.

They have documentation to back them up. A concept car is simple what its title says. A concept. Kit cars are produced for people to build and register them to drive, a concept car is not built for that purpose
