Alright guys, I've been researching this for a few hours now and haven't really found anything remotely helpful. This is what I need. Pictures of Halo's on your cars. all different gens.

I'm trying to decide which Halos to get. I like the look. Gen 1's look the best, but I've heard bad things about them crapping out early (cracking, peeling, leaking, etc.). That and they're way harder to get now. So, that being said. Thoughts on Halos?

How is lighting with stock headlights? What gen's are the best? (please post pics on your car). If I decide to go HID, recommendations? Links? Low beams and high beams?

I'm not really into the retro fits because I want the Halo rings. Please be as detailed as possible. I really appreciate it!

 

You can get Halos on a set of retros. Just gonna cost more.
Nothing will beat a low beam set up like a good projector and HID.
Pictures of cars with gen 1, gen 2, and gen 3 cars (gen 4 does not have halos) are floating all around this forum.
It's been so long since I've had stock headlights, but I didn't like how they performed. I have gen 4 now and run 6000k HIDs and love it. I have a set of 5000k to be put in when they die cause I think it's too blue.

People will argue Gen 4 is the best, but they don't have halos.

I have halos but I didnt install them. but I like them in my gen1s. no issues yet.

 

idk if its normal but my halos are wired into my fogs. they only come on when I have my fogs on. which is fine by me anyhow.

 

I'm really in love with the 1st gen's, but I hear they have a lot of problems. Can anyone tell me what issues they've had with their halos? I want to know where to buy them from, what prices to pay, what issues to expect, and so on.
