not unless you want to drive to NY

wired up 2 of these already, it's pretty easy. but i guess if you've never done any electrical work it could be confusing

it came with quick connectors, right? just clip them on to the correct wires... done
dont be afraid to try and work in new areas. Worst comes to worst, you cut the wire in half (thats pretty unlikely), and you find a friend to solder them back together. No big deal

shrug, those wires are tight, and he has absolutely no experience with electrical work

hes cautious, maybe a bit too much...but if he does screw up, he really cant drive the car until it's fixed

(the how two on this site shows 05/06, the colors were different for 07, so i taped my wires to the shift+ before i soldered them, and half way around the block one of them came loose and forced the car from 2nd to 1st and wouldnt upshift)

and what exactly would he screw up? if you dont cut the stock wires in half (you shouldnt be doing that...you should just splice the shift+ wires in parallel with the stock ones...so idk what you fucked up), then its impossible for anything to go wrong.

It doesn't say what year cobalt he has, and if he goes by the HowTo on this site, the wire colors are different, I later found the right colors on page 2 or 3 of that how to post.
if he cuts the wires on accident, which is easy to do, they're thing wires with thick insulation (on the 07s anyways, ive never played with 05-06).

Sure it's pretty easy, but if he does mess it up, he might have big problems...

OP: Do you have any friends with any basic wiring knowledge? Doesn't even have to be car related.
