I don't think you know what your talking about by it wont hook up, GM makes a kit specifically for the 2.2 motor. And believe me the 2.2 will handle the extra power just fine without building up the motor.

those motors are already over built. People with jbodys have been modding those motors for the past 4 years, many of them have turbo kits, and the stock motor can handle 12-14 psi without a problem. The sc kit from GM for the 2.2 only puts out about 10psi, runs like its right from the factory on the 2.2
