I just got off the phone with one of our GM Parts Technicians (GM PARTEC) and they said that the boost bypass actuator is not serviced seperate. The only way to purchase that item is to buy the complete supercharger asm. Sorry for the bad news because that thing is expensive.

12584331 - SUPERCHARGER ASM - includes bypass actuator and 2 bypass act hoses
Dealer Price $987.53 List Price $1,732.51 Trade Price $1,299.38

I've never priced a supercharger other than GMs but that does sound quite expensive especially if your only needing a $10 part off it. You might can find one in a salvage yard or something.

Also , on the radio's ....what does the RE8 code mean ? Prices are the same but part#'s are completely different .

Trade price is the usual price that a GM dealer sells to another dealer, bodyshop, etc. Pretty much anyone that is buying the part to resell to another individual so both the dealer and the shop can make a few bucks.

RE8 is the option code for the nickel plating that's in most of the uplevel cars. Like the trim piece that goes from one side of the car to the other. And the bezel that surrounds the radios. Some are black while others are that nickel/silver painted coating.

Are you talking about the round plug/cover that snaps in the "A" pillar along your windshield that has the word "AIRBAG" on it? If so, is yours greyish? I think I know which part your talking about now. I'll try and get you some part numbers tomorrow. I'm off work now and I don't have remote access to my catalog anymore. (changed internet providers)

It just so happens that the wife's ride (2005 Malibu LS w/ 3.5L V6 and discs all around) needs the brakes redone because they are starting to chatter real bad. Women sure are hard on vehicles. Anyways I need part numbers and prices for OEM pads and rotors all the way around. All the parts stores have either really shitty or really expensive pads for the front and NOBODY has any of the components for the rear. I'm hoping one of you guys can throw me a lifeline...thanks in advance.

Sorry guys I wasn't here yesterday I'll catch these up as fast as I can thru out the day.

Never mind I see FR33K has done a great job. Thats good to know cause I may not be here in the dealership much longer. I was offered a MUCH better job yesterday and it will also mean I won't be on-line nearly as much
so its good to know you'll be in good hands should I leave.

So sorry to hear about your bad luck with dealers but that doesn't mean ALL dealers won't deal.

These should be those plugs that have the word "AIRBAG" on them on the windshield pillar. The catalog says it comes in quantities of "1" but GM likes to change things around a bit and send you a big bag sometimes. They are a ship direct part and would probably take about a week to receive.

Jackalope,

Glad to see your getting you a better job but sad to see that you will not be logging on as much. Hope everything works out at your new job.

Yeah, I figured it out about two hours after I posted... I held it up to the grille and thought really hard about it... Haha.

I don't have the chrome piece yet, but I'll order that next time I'm at the dealer.

Not real sure about the laminove intercooler core, but the OE intercooler is:
22720231 - RADIATOR,CHRG AIR CLR
Dealer Price $231.53 List Price $406.19 Trade Price $304.64

And the OEM blocks for the 2.2 or the LSJ 2.0 engines are not available. They are only available as complete Goodwrench engines.

The camshaft bearing caps that bolt the cam to the head is only available from GM as a part of the head.

Front :
15808204 - PAD KIT-FRT DISC BRK OEM
Dealer Price $48.50 List Price $97.00 Trade Price $67.90

15856665 - ROTOR-FRT BRK OEM (each)
Dealer Price $78.22 List Price $156.44 Trade Price $109.51

Rear:
15243254 - PAD KIT-RR DISC BRK OEM
Dealer Price $48.50 List Price $97.00 Trade Price $67.90

22705356 - ROTOR,RR BRK OEM (each)
Dealer Price $52.47 List Price $104.94 Trade Price $73.46

The reason why I put OEM on the end of the description is because GM makes an AC Delco version of the pads and rotors. My dealership hardly ever orders the AC Delco's. Always had troubles about them being noisy.
