reasonable questions. You get nothing for nothing. Make it stiff you risk NVH (noise vibration harshness) that GM do a good job eliminating...I use UHMW plastic material for motor mounts, it has good temperature performance range and relatively soft. Too soft the stuff will tear up, too hard (Delrin is harder) and you get more vibration. If I had a lot of time to spend I would try moving the mount to rotate the engine and keep the stock bushing; that could work, but its time and money and if I was guessing I would say trade NVH for "wheel hop gone" . THen the forum will be full of posts " my tires wear out in 10,000 miles....
