How do you feel about the HHR SS, Solstice GXP, and Sky Redline?

Just curious what your thoughts were on these vehicles. I'm still in the process of narrowing down exactly what I want and I know all these cars share the same engine, trans, and probably a lot more then I'm aware of. I like certain things about each of these cars, but I also hate certain things about each one as well. I'm talking about the 08+ cars/van thing. What do you guys like/dislike about these vehicles? Here's my thoughts...

- The Cobalt SS is probably the best looking but it is FWD (sorry guys, RWD > FWD)
- The HHR SS has great usability (4 drs, space, quick...) but is one of the most god awful looking vehicles on the road. Its BUTT UGLY!
- The Solstice/Sky have an aggressive look and are RWD but, I don't really like convertibles (no space, not as safe, loud, gay, girly...) and the coupe is too pricey since I'm planning on buying used.

Whats your thoughts? Obviously you guys like the Cobalt, but if you could go back and buy whatever would you do the same? You don't have to pick one of these cars, but are there any other cars on the road which you wouldn't mind having? I'm planning on spending $10k-$20k and I want something that gets decent mileage 25 avg+ and is somewhat peppy. A 4cyl turbo is probably the best route.

Cobalt - best of both worlds. Looks good, quick, and plenty of room.
HHR - Looks depend on what you like. They've really grown on me. But alot of room.
Soltstice - RWD which is a plus most of the time. No room, but a blast to drive.
Sky - read above.

I'm not sure what you're looking for from us. These cars are all completely different. It depends on what you want from the car. These 4 cars are all different in practicality. (minus the Sky-Solostice)

the Sky is the Sexiest out of all the above, If these 3 would've been up for sale fore around the same price(<---Payattention) then I would've gotten the sky... hands down... The Cobalt coupe, has a "backseat" but it's more like an under the front seat If I could've gotten a Cobalt SS Sedan... I would've been great

The sky, looks the best, HHR looks an feels(to me) like a soccer mom van(haven't drove the SS) the soltice is jus butt ugly to me, the Balt is the all around best.. Balt Sedan beats out all competition to me... FWD or not

I have the cobalt ss and my buddy has the SKY, pretty much same mods, I love the look of his car compared to mine but I still pull on him, all personal preference.

I would imagine the Sky and Solstice would be a little more fun since they're RWD, but as far everything else is concerned they seem very impractical! I was just looking at the trunk of them on google images and it is beyond tiny! A Vette's trunk looks like warehouse compared to this thing!

Anyways, it does seem like the Cobalt is the best of both worlds. Although, I do think the extra space of the HHR and 4 doors could prove to be very handy. Problem is, it still looks like total a$$!

Ya the trunk in the SKY is small, can hold 2 folding chairs and a purse and thats about it, but still a fun car. Sits lower and sounds meaner, trust me. Plus the mods for that car are rediculous.

I'll tell you what I'd do.

Buy a Soltice coupe and do a Sky conversion to it. Sky coupe! HELL YA!

I don't think my HHR SS is butt ugly, neither did most the people at the Nashville meet last year
Alot of those dudes said, I never really liked the way the HHR SS looked but yours looks good with what you've done to it or comments similar to that.

If I could go back in time I would press my dealer to get me the damn quarter panel delete (rear window) in North Carolina. To be fair they did contact the dealer in NC, but I let tehm give up to easy on it. Same options as I have now minus the rear window.

Wife won't let me get a 2 seater till the daughter is out of HS, because I really wanted a Sky Redline.

The Cobalt SS/TC is to small imo, even the sedan for a family if your child is half way grown.

OP based on your thoughts, none of the LNF cars fit you.

The cobalt AND HHR are FWD and ugly
the solstic and sky are gay...

I actually really like the sky. I would buy the cobalt again though, its faster and has amazing handling and powell parts
