How does the SS compare to other cars?

I know my question is a little vague since there are many other cars out there. I know it is compared to the SRT4 allot but I haven't driven either so it doesn't really help. How does it stack up to most V6's out there? This is supposed to be a quick/fast car but with 205 HP there are allot of other cars with bigger numbers. I realize some of theses cars are bigger and heavier but is there really a big difference? I remember hearing when the SRT4 came out that it was the second fastest dodge just behind the viper, where would the SS be on the list for Chevy and GM? For its price how does it stack up to more expensive cars? The STI while not cheap will perform at the same level as much more expensive cars, same for the Corvette. I would really like a site similar to IMDB but for cars, it could have all the info I want acceleration times power to weight ratios gearing numbers and anything else that would be usefull.

The cobalt has the advantage of the supercharger. That is a great odd breaker for the little 4 cyl. cars. "Forced induction, the replacement for displacement!"
The car will take off form the line very well as the supercharger doesn't need to spool like a turbo, or get into the higher RPM's to reach its power band.

The Cobalt SS has a good power to weight ratio with a true whp of around 210.
