How is the ease of shifting with a cobalt SC?

Is it easy to shift? Or very stubborn? Please share with me you experience/opinions

Thanks!

...don't learn on an LSJ, if you can help it. Not much feedback in the clutch and it's a bit laggy because of the throttle-by-wire or whatever it is. It really is different than any car I've driven to be honest, but not necessarily that much more difficult, just different.

It's another member that doesn't own the car, but is speculating the purchase.. Just test drive one and you'll learn everything you need to know.

It shift's like any other manual transmission. Just has long shifter throw's so put in solid shifter bushings and a short throw like B@M and it will be a blast to drive and have a very solid shift! I know my LSJ was once B@M equipped! Just dont bang gears to hard unless you properly marked the shifter cables cause they can/will pop loose!

It's what you would expect out of a high performance economy car. The throttle feel is slightly strange and the clutch/shifter engagement is fine to lacking. It's no BMW/S2000/MX-5.

I've noticed that the accelerator is very touchy on my 06, even more so than any other GM car I have driven including the C6. The shifter engagement it alright when it is warm, like any other transmission, slightly notchy even. I'm going to try to rectify this soon with a combo of Redline gearbox fluid and shifter bushings.

I work for Honda. The Civic Si probably has the best clutch and shift feel out of any economy sports car. I'd be pumped if my TC shifted that well.
