How mad would you be?

At first I was actually hoping he was just pulling my leg, but the more I talked to him the more I could actually see this happening to this guy.

It'd be like going to ford and buying a GT only suddenly you realize that the GT now comes in a V6 AND a V8 version. and you got the V6 version.
It is a little confusing, but yeah, even a trip to the GM website will reveal the differences between the SS and the SS/SC.
So I wouldn't say dumb, I'd say "uninformed" or "ignorant".
Now consider the same thing with the car salesman, A lot of those car salesman don't even know the kind of cars they're selling. I had one salesman tell me that the model car we were looking at had fold-down rear seats to provide extra trunk space. So I asked him to fold them down. He spent 45 minutes on it before he realized that this model did NOT have fold down rear seats (I already knew it didn't. hehe)
another issue is that when your young, or female, car salesman/dealers can't see past the dollar signs to look at you. So many kids and women put their trust in the salesman not to rip them off, and the salesman ends up going home that night with a really fat check in his wallet.

Speaking of car salesman the guy that ordered my car for me came right out and told me I probably know a lot more about the SS/SC than he does. It was the first SS/SC that that particular dealership had sold(including 05 and 06 models). I didn't care that he didn't know anything about the car when I ordered it. He did take the time to look up the features and knew enough about the car by the time I returned to the states, and was very honest about not knowing too much about the car.
12 hour shifts in Guam made for a lot of research time...not a lot of work to do over there!!!

You know ya have to see what your getting.
I didn't get an SS S/C Cause well I don't need to be tempted to drive fast I Have a lead foot as it is. My 05 LS with the 1sb package is cool enough and turns enough heads.

always.. always do research before buying a car.. i did..
i was looking at the ss sc for a good 4 months before i bought it.. i wanted to see what quirks were associated with the car along with all the competition in its class...
biggest thing that sold me on the car was the good gas mileage compared to the amount of "little" *****(4 banger *****) it had
