ok as many of you guys know i have had my Cobalt SS on order since dec 28th 2004, and i have a 750 $ rebate that was givin to me through an online survey i did when i called gm coustermer service, and that rebate ended april 30th and you can only use that if your picking your car up befor april 30th and we all know that did not happen so now my queston is....

i know there are some gm coustmer servic workings or some gm emplyees on here what can i do because its not like its my fault that the dman car not here and now i got to suffer and not get this reate, i was going to use the 750 towards my on delivery chargers when the car got here in june...

so can someone please help me out...

 

go to the dealer and buy one....it will be quicker

 

No way around that .... those are promo's aimed at getting rid of stock... they dont really care if you ordered the car.

If you can't spell dollars, you don't deserve a discount anyways.

You have 2 choices, pay $750 more than you want to, or don't get the car.

 

You have to remember that Chevy wont bend over backwards for you on a car they know will sell... you could walk off on the order and not buy an SS and they could care less someone else will.

 

Around the eastern part of the US they are offering a current $1,000 rebate.

its not the fact that im going to have to pay the 750 $ more now just sucks that it was there for me to use up till april 30th and now its gone.... like dont no why they cant use it when u go and buy the car rather then using it when you pick up the car...

 

I have the same situation, my rebate is gone too. I had 750 as well. Phone customer service 3 times about this already, starting in march and they won't do anything for me either. They r suppose to let me know if there are any more promos coming available. Onstar 1000 discount is not available in Canada, or they would be fine with me! And they wonder why they are losing customers???

this is bullshit man its not like we had anything to do with our cras not comming in yet...

Dude, settle, a new discount might come along before you get your car. If not it's not like it's the end of the world, and if you make a big enough stink you might get some of the $750 out of the dealer. I lost my $750 rebate too but I'd rather have a car i like then a so/so car with $750 extra dollars.

 

If your email looked liked that, there's no way GM is even going to dignify that with a response.

My $750 coupon expires at the end of August so I should be good to go.

Here is the bright side Illest; It's almost a good thing that we are waiting until June to get the cars we ordered. While we are waiting, GM is between promotions in Canada and that means a new one will show up. If a new one comes up before then, we automatically get it!!!!! I bought my car off a personal friend and I know this is true. It could be anything from a buy-out on the rest of your lease payments to winning your car!!!

 

well if its one of those then YEA ..and thy should do that for me and you we have been waiting for ever it seems for these cars they should do something for the ones who have been wiating since rhe bitter begining.

 

well i called 1800 gmdrive and talked to one of the coustmer service reps about tis rebate and whats going on with the car and letting them know that iv been waiting since dec 28th for my car and the girl said that she was going to get the vp or someone higher up to give me a call back with in 24 hours so imma see what gm is going to do for me... i told them i could of went to mazda or honda if i wanted to so im going to see were this is going to bring me... i knwo it wont get my cra here faster but someone gotz to fight for ppl like me who have been wiating so long for a car, like i said b4 you can order a porsche or a high end car and get it built and shipped to you faster then GM is doing...

so i will keep you guys posted on the info i recive with in the next 24 hours.
