Huge Cobalt Meet!!!!

Ok i dont know about you all but i think it would be amazing to have more than the regular 40 or so cars come out to a meet...I think since we have such a wide variety of members on this site that we should pick a spot in the US over the summer say may or june or july to meet for a whole day straight....You know everyone gets to meet each other and 100+ cars come out to just chill, grill, and just kick back and relax

Now i no this requires alot of planning and alot of time and money to drive out to wherever the place might be....But a once yearly event where everyone of .NET meets would be wicked nice....Now idk bout you all but i think it is a good idea...Go ahead and throw your alls idea in on it by our poll and if you would show up by voting yes and if you wont by saying no

Yes as in you would actually come and pay the amount of gas to come out to a huge meet

No if you wouldnt bother showing up because of the gas expense or not enough time

Not too sure bout this one, but I don't think it would be too feasible to have a meet in one of the corners of the US. I think it would prolly benefit the Cobalt Community better if it were a little more centrally located ya know?

I voted yes, because I would be willing to show up at the meet, but I have to agree with
1gmfanatik, it would have to be central location, and it will also depend on when the date is set for.

it must be in a central location, its only fair. because i am not going to lie i am not driving to fa. lol. if you need help planning or even designing flyers (electronic) let me know. also a good idea might be to find some sort of prize for a cobalt , cai, a tune, or something, then at the event sell raffle tickets for it. that might intice people to show up who other wise wouldnt

I'd be interested as long as it's within a 12hr driving radius.... anything more than that would kinda suck

hmmmm central location huh? I know, I know!!!! Indiana, Indiana!!!! I cant ever seem to get many balts together in this state so this would be awesome. I would also say Louisville Kentucky would be pretty good too. Im game for a little drive though. St. Louis would also be a good central location.

yes, I would be interested, depending on where the meeting spot would be. It would be similar to the J-Body Bash. We went to that 3 years in a row, twice in Ohio and once in St. Louis.

you got my vote.... Tail of the Dragon At Deals gap, NC. is one place I have been dying to do!!! It would need to be a weekend thing.... what state parks are in the vicinity? Where could we hang or grill before the Dragon run? a hell of a drive for me to get there.... well worth the drive! F1 star Micheal Schumacher made a trip just to do the Dragon!!! the Dragon is a world wide legend!

If we can start getting some vendors and some mods to interested I say we should be able to get a good meet set up and trying to be un-bias St. Louis is a good central location. This could be sweet, if we get enough interested

Something also to consider is not making this so exclusive as just an ss.net meet. If were trying to get a HUGE meet then I think it would be better to branch out more than just ss.net and hit up all the other forums and then we need to decide if we want to include the redlines and "the other forum" , and make it more of a Delta meet not just an ss.net meet. Then the potential for more vendors and more attendees goes way up. Just a thought.
