Angry I can't stand dealers!!!

Where to start LOL.....

I have been doing some research on the stage kits.

At the dealer I bought my car at I went to the parts counter and asked the parts lady about it and she had NOOOOOO IDEA WHAT A STAGE KIT WAS BLAH BLAH BLAH, also she couldn't pull the kits up in the system....Well, after me being sick of being a stupid customer, little did she know I am not a stupid customer. With the part number in hand, I got her to finally pull up the kit... Well, she was like we do not stock such a thing and it would be a prepay order, I said ok how much she said $750 I said whoa...killer thats a little much, she said yea kind of expensive for ya! I asked her to drop the price, you know how far that got me. LOL....I told her I could get it online for $637.00, her mouth dropped...I started to walk away them she yell's come back maybe I could work with you. She said she could give it to me for $637 I asked about installing the kits and she said NO it is at the dealers digression and we will NOT be installing such an accessory! I argued that it was a GM accessory...I had to leave to get back to work (I was on lunch)

After work I go to a local Saturn dealer, from what I heard from cvenom2122 and Xenozx that it was the place to go for the staged kits. I go there and they were really cool, and said they would install the kit for me for $172 plus the stg 2 kit well they tried to sell the kit for $850 well I asked if I bought it at my dealership and they could install it for me since my dealer refused to, they said yea but there wouldn't be a warrenty coverage since it wasn't bought through them...

So I go to a 3rd dealer....**sigh** tired of this **** already! The guy at the service desk was supposally the service and parts desk ( it was a smalldealer. After explaining what the staged kits were to this idiot( he thought it was an intake TUBE lol and an ecu reflash) I was needless to say I was scared... He finally got everything straight came up with the prices and said it would cost a total of $1007 installed ( do I have stupid dumb idiot stamped on my forehead!) I say thats rediculous he said oh so you think, I exclaimed yes, it is! I can purchase the Stage 2 kit through crateenginedepot.com online for $637.00, he said that is nice GM tells us that we are supose to sell it for $XXX.XX and thats what we are selling it for! I said so your telling me when you buy a new car you expect to pay to the penny of what the sticker says, he said YES, I said you know what you just lost a paying customer and I will not be back!

After all this bullshit I think I am going back to my dealer and getting them to install it!

Sorry for such a looooooooonnnnnggggggg post!

don't worry man I've been dealing with the dealers about the kits and they are all dicks. Hopefully I got a promising lead on where to get one in my area though...

Actually I Know A Little About This Since I Work At The Dealer 637.00 Is The Price Employees Get The Kit At, Most Places Will Charge You Around 750 (retail Price) Unless They Know You Or Your A Regular Customer. Crateenginedepot Can Do It At That Price Due To Volume Pricing. (ie Why Walmart Can Price A Cd For 11.99 But Your Local Music Store Has The Same Cd At 16.99). Also As The Stage Kits Are So New(just Released) Most Dealers Haven't Ordered Them And Dont Have Them In Their Database. (especially Small Dealers That Don't Deal With A Lot Of Performance Parts). Although A Little Of It Is Probably Greed As Tech's And Parts People Get Paid Per Hour Or Per Price, Welcome To The World Of Business. High Demand, Low Supply, Special Part = More Money
