what would you have bought instead.

i probably would have went with a RSX Type S

New v6 Eclipse, or an RSX-Type S . Funds and looks ultimately led me to the ss/sc.

Definitely an SRT-4, or possibly the new mazdaspeed 3 if it doesn't suck, either that or the new SI which I think has made the RSX totally obsolete

srt 4 I probably would have had one if they didn't sell the one I wanted the day before I had the money. At times I wish I had bought an srt4 they seem to have much more potential. I was also about to buy a si but the dealer finally came down on their prices.
