since i have a vette already and a balt, i would have went with the dodge srt10 truck..

 

I with you on that one. I would have ordered a wrangler too. The unlimited rubicon. Mods would have been 1" body lift, tube flat fenders, 3' lift with 35's Nitto Grablers or Goodyear MTR. then bumpers with onboard aircompressor! done!!

 

if it wasn't for the cobalt, I would have went back into the DSM game with a 2g talon tsi awd. i sure do miss my '95

Exactly what I would have done, only mine was a 99. It would have been going in for a hardcore NA motor build.

I miss all the aftermarket support though

Long story about this... I first looked at Crossfire, it was just too small for me. I then went on and looked at the Solstice, same story - too small for me. From there I moved onto the 350Z, couldnt afford the insurance. The Z I was looking at had the APS TT setup on it, and just a **** ton of work done to it, but - insurance.... Well, with that I moved onto the GTO - I LOVE THE GTO. I found a GTO in my price range with a procharger setup on it and all the supporting mods to go with it, but unfortunately - my dad over ruled me getting that. I looked at the 06 GTOs but I was trying to get decent gas mileage... So with the GTO out, I stopped in the chevy dealer to talk to my buddy and they happened to have the cobalt there and ive always wanted one since the day they came out. i test drove one when they first came out and i loved it... well.... you see where im at now. lol

 

An evo or sti, but didnt have the cash at the time. Wish the new evo X was out when i got my car

 

i was wanted to get a 350z but didnt have the money...but i bought the cobalt ss/sc then 2 days later got a raise and promoted....

 

I <3 my eclipse...trust me, you would love it but hate the payments you have to make

If I had known about it before I got an SS/SC (recently totalled unfortunately), I would have gotten a 2004 VW Golf R32. STUNNING car. In fact I may get one soon.

Nothing. I wasn't looking for a car at the time. BUT, when i cruised by and saw this gorgeous red thing sitting out front... I fell in love! I got out and looked at it... saw it was a four cylinder and said - BOO! But I when I saw it had 205hp, I fell in love again. THEN I actually went to Korea for 2 weeks. When I came back, I drove by... saw it again... and test drove it. I convinced the dealer to let me test drive it for 2 or 3 days. Put 1,000 miles on it. Bought it on that final day.

 

If i had had the mula, i would have gone for the 350z, or the R32....to autocross of course....Someday i will get the viper.......long long long time away.......

 

I would've kept my Corvette, but insurance for a 23 year old male and a Vette isn't exactly cheap!

i had an 05 Cobalt base coupe at the time and wanted something a little faster. I was looking at the leftover 06 Mustang GT's, but the dealers were such ******** up here, no one wanted to find me a manual transmission GT in blue with the options I wanted. A few years ago, i had almost purchased an 04 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 and really liked the car. I found an 06 that fit the bill, but again, the Hyundai dealer wouldn't work with me because i still owed a bunch on my 05 coupe...

So, I ended up buying an 07 Cobalt SS/SC
