important question

hey guys i have done some research on the site to find out what our stock wheel size is, but there has not been a unanimous decision as to what it is yet. so what is our stock wheel size?

do you own a cobalt? if so just go outside and read your tire for size. if you don't own a cobalt then be more specific on which model cobalt you are talking about.

yes i drive a ss/sc cobalt, im not talking about diameter, durrrrrrr, haha, im talking about width

well your tire is 215 MM sidewall to sidewall so the wheel is 18X7 i think

and tires:

Stock Tire - 215/40R18

The rim size is usually stamped on the inside of the rim on an inter spoke wall, usually the Dia x Width: 18X7.5 for example. So you may need to take a rim off to be able to confirm the size. Not for sure though GM may not ahve staped those 18" like that.

ALRIGHT, I just walked out to my garage, and since my wheels are off, this is easy.



The stock wheel is stamped (on the hub interestingly enough, not the back of a spoke) 18x7

Measuring it, the overall width, from lip to lip is 18x8.



Happy?!?!
