ingalls rusting

ingalls rusting

anybody have this problem... ill take a picture tomorrow if i remember, think i could get it replaced?

the brackets are fine but the nuts and the damper itself are rusting, its just ugly, and ill def take pics tomorrow

i'd contact who you bought it from and if that dont work contact ingalls direct.. that sucks that its rusting.. i'll have to keep an eye on mine now...

i bought mine through ultrarev i think... ill have to get in touch with them. thanks for the advice

lol mines alot worse i believe ill take pics tomorrow, i had to soak it in wd-40 so that the piston wouldnt pop when it compressed, only lasted 8 months, pos imo lol

Road salt will do that to anything metal.

Those bolts would rust no matter what you did eventually,need to go with stainless
I think they should replace it because it is designed to go where the weather will get at it.

They probably already up graded the plating on those end shafts.

I drove through tons of salt and muck when it snowed multiple times, and I live on a crappy dirt road, and no problems with mine thus far. Its been on since October btw.

i dont understand... taken care of... i did not abuse it in any way, i didnt scuff it up so it would rust. whats there to take care of, u should just be able to install and go

told you its not the vendor its the manufacturer's problem... spray it with wd-40 and wipe it down, alot of rust came off mine when i did so.
