Intercooler or condensor?
Sorry man, didn't mean to be a part of the problem. TECHNICALLY it is aftercooled, but according to the manual it is intercooled. So the answer is- you have a liquid-to-air cooler on the super. It is located between the air conditioner condenser and the radiator- if you look down at the top of the radiator area you will see three elements. Your *****cooler (insert whichever term you prefer) is the middle one.

....the blower or turbo is what created all the heat . Pre-cooling ambient air would be about worthless . A supercharger set-up utilizing a intercooler ~or aftercooler goes like this . Ambient air on supercharger inlet , pressurized air on the supercharger outlet >pressurized air routed to the intercooler/aftercooler inlet to cool off alot of the heat the the supercharger created , then off to the throttle body it goes . The same routing happens when using a turbocharger . A aftercooler is the same thing , it cools the air between the blower and the intake just like a intercooler . Vortech is the only company that comes to mind that chooses to use the term aftercooling , maybe because their water to air system is different from the more typical air/air , who knows .

You put the smallest up front (A/C conderser) then the heat exchanger for the aftercooler/intercooler (whatever you phD's wanna call it) and then the engine coolant radiator, the biggest.
the ss sc is not intercooled
For all you guys that own a cobalt SS sc are cars do not have a intercooler. if you can open your hood of your car and from the sc comes the intake down into your drivers side wheel well you will then see that it goes to an air filter then thats it are cars are cooled directly by the air that the sc pulls in now if you get ouder the car and look you will see that yes there is a thing that is inbetween are radiator and ac condencer that yes it does look like an intercooler, if you follow the pipe that comes off of it you will find that it connects to an coolant line, which is makeing it a aftercooler . which kinda makes me mad casue the dealer ship lied to use all bout are cars being intercooled. but too put the myth slash rumor or what some people were told the Cobaltss sc is not intercooled there after cooled

I read about this refridgerator device that that some how divides electrons making one side of the plate cold and one side of the plate hot. This is the same technology used in those 12v car coolers and also some big box trucks (just on a larger scale). I woner if it would be woth it to attach that to the resevoir to really keep the fluids cool.
