ipod to Cobalt ss/sc

One disappointment of settling for the 06 instead of the 07 was the aux input. I've been wanting to have that feature. Does anybody know a way i can create a aux input or an ipod input into the stock deck? Has anyone ever done it? I would rather not spend a lot of money on an interface. I found this http://www.installer.com/item/displa...php?it=AIP-RCA
which I think might work. Also if anybody has any pictures of the back of a stock deck that would help. Thank you.

You're going to loose a lot of quality going that direction though. If you have about $150, you can splurge on a connector that lets you control your IPod from the stock headunit.

i don't really like the fm transmitters. i don't like the quality. this says it is cd quality, but no matter how good the connection, it is still an mp3. i dont want to spend the $200 on an interface unit and i don't like the idea of controlling the ipod through the stock deck. a main question i have is: is there an extra rca output? or is there only one to the subwoofer? if i have to disconnect my sub, it wouldn't even be worth it. thanks.

oh well got a new monster icarplay for only 30 bucks
