So I've had my 2.4 for about 6 months now, and we've been looking at getting a new car for my fiancee - looked at the tC, the Mazda3.. just about everything else in the price/class range.

Then the other day she was driving by the Chevy dealer right by our apartment, and yesterday we brought an 07 Black ss/sc... so now we've got one of each .

Biggest initial impression? The 2.4 is a LOT easier to drive than the 2.0, and of course the 2.0 is torquey as all hell. Since this is the first 5 speed she's ever had, I'm going to put the first 1000 miles on it while she continues to learn on mine... I just hope I've got clutch left over when it's time for my Hahn turbo .

 

if i were you i'd be like "hell take the 2.4 i'll keep the ss/sc" until you go turbo.

I've been considering this, but we'll see how it goes. I think if I did a seat swap she'd be totally sold since those are really her favorite thing and I personally despise leather. That isn't to mention that the 2.4 has a sunroof which I personally never use, but she loves..

I don't know how much this clutch will break in, but it may take her that long to get used to driving an MTx anyhow.

And my 2.4 is silver, new ss/sc is black. I'll post some pics when I get back into town this weekend.
