just a dealer rant.

I took my car into the dealer to get the rough idle and rev bounce looked at as well as a sound in my supercharger that sounds like rocks in a tumbler ( believe this to be a bearing in the coupler). They tell me they can't complete a full diagnostic with my aftermarket CAI on. I gave them the TSB info on the rev bounce and all my problems are during idle. They say they can't do the diagnostic with it sucking more air...under idle is shouldn't suck anymore air with aftermarket intake vs. stock intake. is this reasonable or are they just dicking me around.

I thought that noise from the supercharger was said to be normal?

The rev bounce is a normal. They can reflash for that. But the sound in the supercharger? Uhh, doubt it.

just put your stock airbox on for the service and take it back off after they fix the problem, so there is not excuses

I know they can reflash it and i gave them the TSB bulletin for it since they didn't seem to know anything about it but they want me to put the stock intake back on and i think it is bullshit cuz the intake has nothing to do with it.

This is really the best bet. Arguing with them about what they should or should not do is like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer...it feels so goood when you stop! No matter what, they hold the cards here, and if they want to be hardliners, you aren't going to change their minds.
