My vanity plates don't have anything to do with a specific car. I like it that way so that the plate will still "work" no matter what kind of car it's on. By the way, anyone in the states who thinks $126 is a lot for vanity plates, think again. Here in Ontario, they're just over $230. Anyway, here's what I have:
I also have this one, but this car hasn't seen the road since I bought the Cobalt. It's waiting for either someone to buy it or to be put in storage or something. Currently collecting dust in my garage.

Back when I had a 98 Cavalier with the pushrod 2.2L in it, I had "G0T 0HV"...
When I got my 05 Cobalt base coupe, I went with the same thing "G0T D0HC"
Here in NY, you can look up your vanity tag online and all the good ones are taken here.

I wanted to get SLOBALT but it was taken so somebody has it in virginia. I also had ELMNT CO as one of my top choices, which would have been most appropriate since i am a science major. but i decided to get something that doesn't have anything to do with the car.

I wanted a custom plate ever since i had my Grand Prix GT when i was 16...
I wanted to get SYP ... but somehow that was taken all the way up to SYP 27... how?
Now i will have this for the next 3 or so years until i get another car
$126 later:
