The new Laser Blue for the 06 Cobalts

these pictures are decieving. that is what they look like on an overcast day. in those pictures id say the laser, but in intense light laser looks purpleish. both colors shift.

 

Based on that picture, laser blue all the way!

 

I'm digging the Arrival Blue....

 

Both colors look great in my opinion ( can't wait to see a SS/SC in Arrival Blue ), good idea for G.M to change up the colors though.

i vote arrival, the laser looks to dark for a true blue look, which looks nice on an arrival blue cobalt. Laser is not bad tho.

Bad move , Lazer blue looks aweful to me . Its not blue , in person it looks more purple than anything . Definately Arrival blue all the way

 

I really like the lazer blue, im not sure why they didnt use it on the cobalts last year too. Looks really good on the 05 Impala's, Last year for that body style, not sure if they have it on the new 06's. They are 2 different shades of blue that both look nice.

Reguardless, my vote goes to lazer blue.

 

They both do look pretty nice, but I'm still going with my arrival blue

 

I'm just curious why Chevy would dump a good selling color after the first year... maybe people who got it lucked out and it was too expensive to keep so they went with a color they use otherwise... or maybe there is some sort of defect that will start showing up after a certain time and they wanted to not take any chances.... either way I would be scared to buy a color that is discontinued that quick

 

Laser blue is a shifting color with a lot of depth. It is more metallic. It looks really good on the 'Nox but I have no idea how it will look on the cobalt.

 

I think they switching up because the new paint shop will be opening up soon, useing there new method of painting the car.

But I do like the Arrivel better, but the change is good for me cause it just will make my car rare.

I saw an Equinox on the road this morning in Laser Blue. It is distinctly more purplish in real person. Not as purple as the Mazda3's Indigo Blue though.

 

WTF..... why not a COBALT BLUE.

Gotta admit, Laser Blue looks awesome.

On a Cobalt it should look sweet!!

 

I'm looking forward to the Laser Blue, I actually wanted Purple but it won't be available on the 06 SS/SC so I think this will be a great look for my car. I liked the Arival blue alot, infact If i bought one this year it was going to be Arrival Blue, and I was kindof dissapointed that it wasn't available in late 06, but the Laser blue has changed my mind....although i am still considering the majestic Amethyst. even though i will have to have it painted after I buy it to get that color....I'm waiting to see the colors on the cars....

 

Will there be an overlap with the colours? I asked my salesperson about the Laser Blue, and he said it isn't available until January. I, however, want my new car by the end of October, otherwise my vacation to Toronto will be all screwed up.

 

Anyone know for sure yet when Lazer Blue is available? Don't feel like waiting on backorder.
