Sorry I'm slow to respond lol but yeah went under the carpet where passengers feet would be. And a s for gettin the jump on him, we squid we were gonna do a 50 roll, I was doing 50 with cruise set for the start, he slowed down lol not my fault xD but we did quite a few more pulls and the results were all the same

I usually keep a couple dead hookers in the trunk. driving around with them for a week makes the car feel sluggish and heavy. I dump the bodies, weight reduction, and am all OMG butt dyno so happy.

It is a rinse and repeat method tho...

What if you just took your trunk lid completely off, like an el camino? Call it the "el cobaltino" mod.

replace all body panels with carbon fiber.. then you can name your car after two elements on the periodic table, could be the sesto-elemento-cobaltium

After removing and weighing everything on my old ass scale that idk how accurate it is...

Seatbelt bar 8lbs
Trunk insulation 5
Black plastic where trunk latches into 2
Sub -19
Amp 8
Rear floormats 5
Rear mat 10ish?
Seats 35 lbs
26 - spare tire

Just dropped about 125 lbs!

Only thing im keeping back there is the jack (3-4 lbs) which i will need to secure somehow so the rattling doesnt kill me, a can of fixaflat and bam!
Duralast 47-90 battery 35ishlbs...

So when i do my cf trunk and if i do the 3.5 lb battery i got another 55ish lbs on the way!

How's it feel with about 125lb off of it?

Also, when I first pulled the bottom part of the back seat out I found about 2lbs of change so that was a win win :P

You should lay some fat mat back there like I did in my 06 SS/SC. It may add 10 pounds back, but it will look cleaner and the noise cancelling is worth it.

I wont know how it feels lighter till spring when my clutch and everything is fixed.

Im working on losing 15-20 lbs myself this winter actually. Car is a good motivator

Im gonna see how bad it sounds first; figure since there is nothing to rattle around it might not be too bad

And also pulled out my door panel to find there really isnt much to get rid of and the foam is not heavy at all so no weight loss there.
