i wouldn't buy that car because i wouldn't want to drive it anywhere with that color scheme. it's a shame because the targa top is nice.

 

Its a great car to buy if you want to DIE! You can't cut the roof off on a car and expect it to be safe. Doing that you lose anywhere from 30-75% of the structural integrity. Oh yea roll over= instant death. Not only that, the way it was done looks like crap. They left the door post there, cut right at the curve, so they could hide the inners on the B-pillar. Some things just arent meant to be, and that's one of em. People should leave that stuff to the manufacturer, where they have a whole team of engineers there to make sure its safe.

Don't get me started on the pink.

 

glad somone else see's this ..on the other thread on this car being on ebay i posted pretty much the same thing, just cutting away such a structural peice on a unibody car is asking for alot of trouble...i sure hope for the sake of whoever might end up with that...that some engeneering went into it *(which i highly doubt) and they did somthing to brace up that car

 

it was in one of the magazines.. i have it actually...February 2007's Performance Auto & Sound...page 80...

ha ha i was just looking at that on ebay too. if it was a solid color, and not pink then it would look alot better.

 

Way to much pink for my taste. And that targa top appears to have been poorly done. (Grim and HalfJ already noted)

crap, plus i wouldnt ever bid on that for other reasons the person selling it has no feedback at all!! The pink is a little distrubing.

For those of you discussing the "targa" top did you also notice that there is, in fact, no top. That's right, they didn't get ultra cool with it and actually make a removable top system like a true Targa, they just hacked the roof out and said there, done. Ugly car.
