Looking for reasonable undercarriage response to snow, salt, and general winter

I'm one of those people who tries to avoid the aging of my car. I don't usually drive the Cobalt unless it's dry out. Sometimes **** happens though.

Is there anyone other there kinda like me who is worried about undercarriage rot and what not but who has a routine for taking care of it?

I try to go to a touchless wash to get the undercarriage rinse but there aren't any close to me. I bought a bunch of Fluid Film on clearance at Advance Auto but how much does it really help? I'm in Michigan where the roads get pretty bad plus the different kinds of salt that chew up metal real good.

Just thinking about what I'm want to have ready when it gets cold. Honestly thinking about getting a freeze proof sillcock just so I can get an underbody pressure washer attachment. But then I just get an iced up driveway. Just fishing for ideas.

I daily drove mine in new england winters for 8 or 9 years. Never had any issues. After a storm, the next reasonable day I would just hit the car wash for a pressurized undercarriage wash. Never did fluid film, although heard good things about it, and the underside looked newer when i sold it
