Saab=Lotus? I don't have any fancy smancy links like you guys, but I have putten my eyes on the word SAAB on my LSJ.

Saab does not = lotus. Nothing = Lotus.

I just meant that Lotus is it's own entity. Even though they use mostly other manufacturers parts.

How is it possible that lotus helped developed the motor, when the elise and exige, the premiere lotus cars, both have toyota engines?

It's the SAAB Motor. Cool little hyroglyphic or whatever on the race Cobalt, it's a SAAB motor on the production vehicles at least.
