Low Hanging Exhaust fix

So ever since I installed my Magnaflow system it hangs down kinda low and scrapes ocassionaly, until now. I was on JBP and they now have Poly Exhaust hangers woot woot.
75 for the set not to shabby.

Those will stretch a whole bit and make it lower you'll need to wrap them in a hose clamp or something to keep it where it is supposed to be.

yea i was thinking something along that line 75 for a set is way too much for something you wont even see, and wont even make any noticable difference in performance...

you realize those poly hangers wont raise your exhaust at all? They just keep it from swinging around during tunrs, which helps contribute to overflexing the flex joint part, which will reak the exhaust. It will still be at the same height tho

2 bolt flanges suck , they tend to bend in the ears and cause a leak. U could try to double gasket the DP to resonator flange but it doesn't always work.

before the spot where it hangs low, then they would just twist it upward and reweld it

then adjust the hangers so it hangs fine

My exhaust used to hang low too and I'm lowered so i scrape here and there too. My fix- Use a coat hanger and wrap it around the two metal brackets a few times and cut off the extra, but leave the rubber hanger on there too. Hope this helps!
