Is it really possible to hit high twelves? I'm sure it would have to do with the driver. I wanna see it though.

Driver is everything. You can have someone in a super car and if they can't drive they will have poor numbers at the track

You can rip high 12's in an LsJ with the right bolt ons and slicks.

A GMS1 SS/TC should have no issues getting into 12's.

Problem is traction and the driver. It has the power to do it.

Good because when you trap 105mph with a 3.1" pulley and a generic GM tune you better believe.

So many noobs on here now.

yeah but that's the lowest size stock pulley before a tune which still isn't bad.

Isn't 3.1 the lowest pulley size you can go on a stock Gm tune before you have to change injectors and tune to go any lower. (Lsj)

(Going back to the whole stage 1 and launching thing) a buddy of mine has an evo x with just a catback exhaust and coilovers (not that coilovers make a difference) and he wants to race, but I know from a dig im screwed unless there's magical way of beating him from a dig.

If its a slush box you're gonna die. If its a manual there is a decent chance he won't know how to launch it so you'll be neck and neck off the line then 3rd gear will do its thing. And please tell me you're going to take it to the track and not a back road

No. You can't change the pulley size at all without tuning and new injectors. If you do you're a moron and I hope your car blows up.

3.1 is the GM stage 2 pulley size. Or 3.06 if you want to be more specific.

Noo.... 3.35" is the lowest you can safely run on the stock GM tune before you need injectors & new tune.

With that said, I have also ran into my first LNF problem. Whenever I'm getting on it and try to shift competitively, going from 2nd to 3rd the joint at the bottom of my shifter pops out of the bushing on the cable. Any answers on the best way to fix this?
