On one of my other forums I found a thread about what brands of filter, oils, wipers, fluids etc, with #'s everyone uses.


Oil: 5w30 Mobil 1, used to be Castrol GTX 5w30
Wipers: Bosch, non icons
Brake Fluid: Valvoline syn power Dot 4+
Oil Filter: Purolator, used to be fram ch9013

I know someone is running Mobil 1 ATF in thier tranny, has anyone switched fuel filters or anything else yet?
Post your normal maintanence fulids and parts, etc.

 

Are you using the standard Purolator oil filter or are you using the better Pure One by Purolator?? I've been using Mobil 1 5W30 from the start (first changed at 1200 miles).

 

Regular this change next time I might go to the Mobil one filter or the Pure one filter

 

Pure One is cheaper and also has a higer muliple pass efficiency than the Mobil 1. I haven't changed the fluid in the gearbox yet but I'll either be using Mobil 1 or B&M.

 

I'm using the Pure One and Castrol 5W30.

I may buck the trend and stay with conventional oil.
