manifold/xtcdownpipe/corsa install
Well i finally got the courage to do some engine work. After fiddling with the manifold i finally found out how to take off the heat shield, and the bolts, which on a 2.2 isnt fun. Anyway, after 2 hours of trying to get hte damn thing off it came out, and i also took out my old downpipe and exhuast, which came out with ease with a sawzaw. Then i tried putting hte gmpp manifold on, it was somewhat simple i did have issues with teh gasket though, i would line up like 8/10 bolt studs and the last 2 just wont screw back in, i dont knowif they are hitting hte gasket or are not threading properly... so i left them out figuring it should hold up and i can alway look at it later, then i hooked up my ca downpipe and it was like 1130 so i called it quits,... i didnt get the corsa on, im going to an exhaust shop in the morning to get my springs installed, i might just have them slap on the exhuast since my is already off, and they hvae a lift, but i would drive 10 miles across down w/o a muffler. This car roars, actally sort of nice/ deep throaty w/o a muffler but its WAY to loud. So i might just drive it just to get some dirty looks. I wonder how long it would tak eto put the corsa on, now that i have the old one out? Anybody? Im thinking like 30 minutes once i get it jacked UP?
Think having two bolts left out will f it up?

that is the pattern for the header bolts
the o's are where i dont have them screwed in...
there are 5 bolts on top and 5 on the bottom.
seems like they are in locations that have enough pressure on them to have it secured good enough and they are not on the edge
