My 06 is goin on 120k...

***Well since this thread hasn't sparked any interest I'll add in this interesting bit of information. I only have $550.00 in my Cobalt and it's fully paid off. Ask me how, lol.***

Well I've had the Cobalt for a few months now and she's gonna turn over 120k tonight. When I got her she had right under 110k, and so far she's been a great car with no problems at all. All stock for now but got some plans, starting with installing my Ksports this week Although when finances straigten out I plan on getting a 4 door SS and this will become the future wife's, lol.

Here's how the car sits right now (all stock)

And here's the future wife, lol

OK so I had an 86 Mazda B2000 that I paid $550 for, drove it for 3+ years, then it had catastrophic head failure, and sat for 4 months till my buddy decided he wanted it to put his running motor in so he traded me a fast running 88 RX7 that needed some TLC on the body for it. I drove the RX7 for about 2 months and couldn't afford the insurance or the amount of gas the rotary sucked down plus it was pretty damn ugly, lol, so I posted it on CL for trade. Checked out a few cars but for some reason I loved the Cobalt so I made the trade. Only thing I've had to have done to it since I've had it was the power steering assist recall, and mine didn't go out, I just figured have it fixed while I can for free. So that's how I got the Cobalt for $550. Oh and another interesting fact, I found my Ksports on CL for $100, but I got em for $80 brand new never installed.

I thought I got my car for a good deal.

brand new off the lot for little over 2,200.

car was little over 16,100
dealer took off 1,000 for rebate
dealer took off 1,000 for memorial sale
dealer gave me 11,000 for my silverado (it was kbb at 10,000)
dealer took off 500 for owning a non gm car
dealer took like another 500 off bc they couldnt get the car to me for like 2 weeks

had 60 miles on the clock
