ruff idle

goin through timmies drive through last nite & the engine kept bouncin (w/ clutch kikd in) from 600- 1200 rmps. it was -9c's out. its happened b4 & was jus wondrin if it the throttle body is jus stickin in this cold weathr.>>>>>>>>>>.any othr comments?

sorry. i think? i went through a tim hortons coffee shop drive through and my engine would not stop reving from 600- 1200 rpm. it was -9c (15 degrees f) and the car was warmed up from a 20km ride. would this be my throttle body sticking or am i out 2 lunch?

the answer to yer ? is simple, if u have an SS SC, which i assume you do, they do that, it ha been discussed quite abit and there is no fix for the 06 models since we have all the upadated software unless they have one now, just tap the gas and it corrects itself, i hear this is common in supercharged motors, if yer car isnt stallin do not worry about it, my car does it from time to time, try a better grade gas if you are using cheap stuff that helped me out a bit, apperently if you get the stage upgrades this will correct the problem as well but dont quote me on that, ive taled to GM reps about this and when i get my oil change i will ask again, but i wouldnt worry about it unless it starts to stall, hope that helped, peace.

got her hot off the line 14 oct. & 7000kms now. oh yah i go from 91- 94 octane depending where abouts in the boonies i am. lol!

ya i usually use shell 91 vpower, or sunoco 94 if i wanan get a carwash.
where exactly are you in ontario dude?

that would be wicked! ive scene 0 ss s/c around here. just at the dealership when i p/u mine. ( down in elora). i know theres a couple down in waterloo, but thats it. keep me up to date though, eh! its mabey a 90 min drive.( or less )
