My Cobalt
My Cobalt
This might be long winded for some, and many will troll.
I was walking out to my car to get me some Taco Bell, and as she peered into view I smiled. Among all the other cars, the blacks...the greys...the whites...there was my Red Cobalt. The lowered suspension, just enough to hide the wheel gap a bit. My painted brembo's that me and a friend did on a whim. The dent in my wheel well where I accidentally hit it with my pump jack. It reminded me that, I truly do love this car. Many fond memories have been made working on this car, and the people it has brought into my life is crazy.
I never would of thought a Turbo Ecobox would of changed my life this much. I have met many people I would not of known, that I can call my good friends to this day, because of this car. Sure, it may not ride as smooth as a Cadillac, be as fast as a Corvette, have a great interior or get as good as gas mileage as a Honda...but to me its in its own segment. It has never left me stranded, and has always treated me right.
Sometimes I see an Evo or an STi and wish I had AWD. Hell, I own a 2014 WRX and while its awesome to not spin, it sure isn't as fast nor as fun as the Cobalt. Anyway, I plan to keep this car until It cant run anymore. It needs some work, but 85k miles of fun will do that to a machine.

Was thinking the same about my car:
Only ever goes wrong because of the things I do to it.
Makes decent power even though it's wrong wheel drive.
Good on gas.
Makes awesome turbo 'PHEW' noises.
Only sad part is I think I'm at an end for modding this car.

Pretty Much
no, the WRX is not faster than my SS. From a dig it would be probably due to the fact that I spin but from a roll its not even close. Gotta think the car comes with 265 hp from the factory, and its brand new so its stock. Thats 220 whp being AWD. I dont know if anyone has driven an AWD manual but it is completely different from my SS. At least the WRX is
