my turn signal

have any of you had it where your turn signals started clicking at a very fast rate of speed. Well my right hand turn signal is ticking like its on steroids any way to fix it without taking it to a dealer?

One of your signal bulbs being burnt out is usually the cause !

turn your signal on.

get out of the car.

walk to the front to make sure that one is blinking.

walk to the back to make sure that one is blinking.

replace the one that's not blinking.

grab a seat and open a beer.

You can get four resistors for like 20 bucs if you feel like fixing it. I couldn't stand the fast blinking.

i had the same problem too bud. it was my rear right taillight. it works but sometimes it didnt and it clicked really fast when i hit the turn signal. it was a connection issue. i got a zip tie and and tightened the hell out of the harness that comes off the tail light

Fast clicking = rear bulb
solid light = front bulb

You tap into the wire that would normally go to the bulb, I forget the colors at the moment, but in the front you wire it up to the signal wire (not the parking light wire) and a ground, and the rear goes on the brake light wire and ground. I got off lucky with my lights, cause my tail lights cam prewired with a little resistor box, so I only had to put these things on my front signals.

By the way, Cobalts only get a fast clicking if a bulb is out. The solid light thing was common on older cars that still used thermal flashers. My Sunbird did this until I replaced the flasher with a non-thermal one.
