Need advice on how to remove something

I have these rain visor things on my windows (I'm not really sure what they're called) but they have been on the car since I bought it last year. They make the car look bulky and I want to take them off.

Is there a specific way to remove them so I don't ruin the paint?

I also have one of those visors on the sunroof which make the ride quieter when the sunroof is open. I want to remove that too,

Any advice helps, thanks!

Most of the time they are just stuck on with 3m double sided tape, so it's just a matter of pulling them off. Or you can get some type of fine string like dental floss or fishing line and run it through the tape and it usually cuts right through it. Good luck

Use fishing line to "cut" them off, then soak the remaining adhesive in label remover, goo gone, or even gasoline. Clay bar will also help remove stubborn stuff on the surface. Plan on cleaning and waxing the areas when finished.

Try hitting it with a little heat before. It will help loosen up the adhesive.

Okay so same kind of deal as with debadging. It shouldn't peel any paint off though right?

It shouldn't in theory. If it's been on there forever the paint might be a little faded. Just give it some heat and take your time.

Those rain visors suck taking them off.

Heat gun will be your best friend, just be careful not to melt them.
