Accidently painted over threads. Help?

I accidently sprayed over the threads for the 02 sensor when I painted my LSJ header with high temperature paint. Anybody have any tips or suggestions on how to clean out the threads?

I'll take a picture of it when I get home from work. I think it's a good amount, more than a casual over spray

Use a tap & die set to chase the threads

I'm gonna try the paint thinner and cotton swab idea first, seeing as I don't have a tap and dye set

A thread chaser would actually work best, since it won't remove any of the threads that are already there like a tap will.
