A body shop should be able to get you the measurements. Might only be able to measure to the ball joint though.

There is no way that is the right axle, your axle boot should not be like that.

Or something is way off, I'd check engine and trans mounts and your knuckle and stuts

i replaced that strut already I'm going to drop the engine cradle to get a better look at it something has to be off to cause a cv axle failure an yes i was looking at the cv axle in the picture an it does look really off looks like the knuckle was pulled out before i even put power to it.

Is the axle the same length as the other side? They should be identical.

weird. its going to be a process of elimination now.

Check:
-trans mounts
-engine mount
-intermediate shaft
-knuckle/hub

Also do a very detailed visual inspection of anything that looks weird underneath. Make sure the car is supported very well before crawling underneath

The engine an transmission mount bolts came out nice an smoothly an the bolts are straight as well so im going to rule those out axle is straight

Check the upper engine mount on the passenger side. Usually a knuckle will break before it bends. When you installed the axle did you make sure it was seated all the way inside the intermediate shaft? Make sure there is no damage to the intermediate shaft bearing or bracket.

The engine is being held up by the upper engine mounts so if they were damage I'm pretty sure they would have failed an yes the axle was in all the way. I will check the bearings an brackets when I go back to the car. Does the engine cradle look bent at all to you?

The ones I've found are front end damage so I'm not going to risk buying a bent cradle
