Never Order From Gmpartsdirect.com

hey guys i want to warn everyone unless u have a month or two to spare on waiting for parts then dont buy from gmparts direct i ordered parts for my rrebuild from them and they said it usually takes only 7-10 busineesss days to ship. it has been 9 now and still no word of when they are going to ship. Why dont you call them instead of making a thread here? Everything ive ordered came in a timely manner. You do know saterdays and sundays are not business days?

I never liked GMpartsdirect. They didn't even had a phone number I could call. Or did they?

The general rule of thumb is that if you are in no rush and want to save money - gmpartdirect.com - and if you want your parts soon and don't care about spending a couple extra bucks then Tom is the man at crateenginedepot.com!

7-10 days... 9 is within that.. you were told how long it would take.

i've ordered several times, always had my parts within about 3 days or so.

I ordered 90 bucks worth of gaskets and seals and it only took about 12 days to arrive, That is if your parent's dog doesnt tare open the box and chew up everything before you even touch it. In thast case it will take another 12 days and double the price. Moral of the story is, dont get a dog or just go to the stealership.

Needles to say i wanted to invest in a shotgun after i heard the news

Correct me if I'm wrong, but he was told he was going to get his stuff in 7-10 days. Its been 9 and they haven't even shipped, let alone knowing when they will.

That's been my experience too, with one exception that took longer.

My biggest complaint is their shipping costs; I try and order as many things at one time and it saves a little on shipping.

Tom at CED, rockauto.com and partsamerica.com are better in my opinion.

GM Parts Direct is local to me here in NC. I pick my stuff up from them often. They are a place called Flow Chevrolet in Winston-Salem, NC. When you call ask for internet parts sales.
