New to the board...
Not even officially part of the family yet, but my '08 SS t/c is supposed to be in tomorrow evening!!!
its a Crimson colored one(Roll Tide Roll! not sure what the color is actually called), fully optioned(LSD, sun roof etc.)... I wanted this color, but the only ones in the area were black and Silver, and they were both over an hour away, my local dealership located the Crimson one in Tennessee...

and I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas all over again, except this gift cost me $22,000 and some change(after rebates)

my only experiences with non-v8s are a supercharged grand prix,
I had an '04 with a fenderwell intake, 3.5" s/c pulley, 3" downpipe, DHP 1.0 PCM, 1.9 Ratio Roller Rockers, LS6 Valve springs, portred intake manifolds, 180 degree thermostat, and some ZZP Gen II Motor mounts...
I don't keep cars stock long
also do yall do mod days here? that is what was great about the grand prix community, there was a "group" is just about every region of the country that would schedule mod days, we'd meet up on Fridays, drank beer that night, wake up early the next morning, work on cars all day(late into the night) and return home on Sundays... A lot of my mods that were on my grand prix would not have happened without those days, there is no way I would have broken into the topend on my own...

IF I get the car tomorrow(err today), its supposed to be in tonight, I am going to a MMA fight tonight(friend of mine is fighting)... HOPEFULLY I can get it before the fight starts, the lot is closed on Sunday, so that would put my picking it up off until Monday, which would be a nightmare... But will be worth the wait...
I'm optimistic that I will get it tomorrow though

Yeah, it sounds like you have Sport Red Tintcoat. Although you posted a picture of a Victory Red car.

won't be able to get the car until Monday... It will be on the lot Sunday, they are not open, so it will be Monday before it gets unloaded... I can't take this much longer, lol
and that is why i'm not too familiar with the color, i've seen it in a catalog... haven't seen it in person.... It looks crimson, I love Alabama football, it'll fit right into the family...
I don't think I did bad on the car, with my trade in, rebates, taxes, and title I got it out the door for $23,8xx, don't know the exact dollar but I got it off the lot for less than the MSRP...

they left me a voicemail on my phone and I went by the lot after the fight, sorry about the quality, the LG VX8600s camera isn't much
it doesn't have the high rise wing, i'm glad it doesn't, I didn't want it... I had determined by the window sticker it was missing an option but saw "premium spoiler" as an option, turns out it wasn't the "high rise" premium spoiler, made me love the car that much more....
