New body options?

Hello all. I was wondering what the options are for a full body swap on a 2007 Cobalt SS, I don't know much about cars, but is there a way for me to make it look much meaner? Kind of like the mods you could do to regular cars in NFS Underground 2? My car is pretty badly beat up with all kinds of dents, scratches and rust, someone actually suggested that I just drive it until I find something else to buy because it's not worth fixing as I only paid $2000 for it.. But that's kind of hurtful, imo. This car only had 180K on it and it's still in pretty good condition, aside from the body which is pretty gross atm.

Getting a bodykit for this car is going to be worth more than the car itself. If you want to be cheap and change up your appearance go with a wrap, get after market rims, after market head lights, tail lights, coil over springs.

Well, if I don't fix the rust on it pretty soon I won't have a body at all. I've been told that it's past the point of being able to Bondo it, but I'm not sure. All I know is that if I take it into a body shop to have it welded back together that alone will probably cost more than the car is worth. It does still have some value being that it is a lower-ish mileage vehicle and it's a manual transmission as well, which are kind of hard to find today.

Take a look at this and tell me what you think please

Yeah it doesn't look the greatest but its fixable especially if you found say a donor car and cut the rear quarter panels off of that. But heres the other thing. These cars are cheap and a lot of parts you can swap from one another. Is your car supercharged or N/A?

Holy frick dude, I have been STRESSING mighty heavily over the damage to my car and what you just told me has lifted a huge burden of stress. THANK YOU

Phew.

It is the N/A version, which is also part of the reason I want to preserve it the best I can, because I do intend to tune the HECK out of it once I have the funds and know how to. Like I'm willing to spend the money on it, it's not a bad little car and it is my first ever manual, so it does have a bit of sentimental value as well

Yeah no worries brotha. So now what you need to do is go over that entire car from top to bottom and see what all needs to be fix/replaced. Then start getting prices for new and used parts. I be checking all your local junkyards to see what good used parts you can find that'll save you a lot of money over buying brand new. Check this site here for local junkyards in your area.https://www.car-part.com/
