new clutch

just wondering how long it will take a mechanic to put in a new clutch in my 2007 ss/sc car. i checked in how to section and could not find a rought timeframe.

Are you talking about hours? the install should be between 400-700 bucks depending on where you go . i just said a day because some might run into problems i think gm said 8 hours or 12 hours i cant remember.

My local shop took about 6-7 hours to do it. That included sending the flywheel out to get resurfaced in the next town over.

thats not bad. i need a new clutch mine kinda went poof when i was at a anual drag race event here.

I paid $560 for mine, it was done at a GM dealership..about 8 hours
