I stumbled upon this story from this past june...

New Chevrolet Cobalt Sedan Concept





If nothing else, it was good for a laugh... I mean using the name in a different market, on a fairly similar looking car (albeit more boxy/taller)...

Looks similar to the Cruze I think

 

Interior looks much better than the Cobalt's, but the exterior doesn't.

 

ya thats the one thats suposed to be for south America right? meh.. i like parts of it, but not as a whole I guess

Lol that's exactly what I was gonna say. I like the interior other than the gauges, but the exterior is hideous.
