New to cobalts
Hey guys im still thinking of buying a cobalt sedan. The thing i want to know is can you make good horse power with these 2.2L with n/a stuff replace like basic stuff then maybe after go more in the cam and pistons maybe. And exterior do they make any front lips lowering the car with same nice wheels and getting the stock normal wing. I just want some feedback of what you know about the 2.2L if it at least worth. Cause im was looking around couldnt find any thread that was talking about n/a power maybe i was just blind lol.

You should go with the 2.4l, I have the 2.2l sedan. Its a nice car for the price but the power sucks. I don't personally know anyone with a 2.0l but I often see threads on them breaking down or having lots of problems.
The 2.0s only have a lot of problems when stupid people put ridiculous tunes on them without supporting mods, or put a tiny pulley on without supporting mods. Stock, or bolt on, SSSCs, don't have a lot of problems.

190 maybe at the wheels on a 2.4L fully bolted with SS/SC injectors.
The SS/2.4L will have a lot better overall quality as far as interior and exterior. If you can get one used for 12 or less go for it.

NWAE has full bolt ons and a "tune" and dyno'd 155 to the wheels, ~20WHP over a stock 2.2.
