So for months now, my ebrake has refused to work, when I bought the car it worked perfectly, did a couple burnouts at the track with the ebrake up and ever since then, nothing. Adjustment on the handle was completely bottomed out and it had SOME tension, but not alot, so I had assumed that the ebrake cables were just stretched a bit. Put two brand new OEM ebrake cables on today...get in the car to sit them in the handle piece, they are about 2" longer then the cables I removed from the car, I cant even get any tension on it with the adjuster. Has anyone ever ran into this with OEM cables? Should I be looking at the return spring on the caliper itself for a problem?

Sounds like what happened to me when I replaced one of the cables on my old 06 lsj. Just before buying my Lnf. For myself the cable was the right length. But there was too much of it inside the car. Causing it to not be able to have any tension at all on the cable. I had to feed more of the new cable back outside and make it take a longer path so there was less inside the car. It was an easy fix.
