new exhaust installed

Just Installed my bad mab header and 2.5" zzp catted dp. After my first startup there was white "smoke" coming from the manifold/DP. Also had an odor. Is this normal after installing these brand new parts? After I installed my catback a few months ago there was similar white smoke coming out of that.

Just want to make sure this is normal before I start to drive it. Thanks

Mine had a weird smell to it at first too. But then it went a away. I think it's coated in something and it burns off which causes the smell and smoke.

I also have a "raspy" sound that you can hear clearly after 3k rpm. It is really irritating and makes the exhaust sound like crap after the 3k rpm plus mark. Is it an exhaust leak? Sounds like its coming mid-car to me

Sounds like it could be a leak between your dp and catback

What I'm hoping. I installed the catback about 2 months ago. But maybe i should just replace the gasket and see if that helps.

also should say I do not have a resonator in my catback...is that a issue too? But it doesnt sound like its raspy coming out of the muffler, just mid-car I hear the rasp

Not sure if I hear any clicking though, which is what I have heard determines leaks...Just a heavy rasp mid-car..

If you're pretty sure it's coming from the mid car area it's a good chance there's a leak. Mine has had a leak for some time and I have yet to order a gasket and fix it. It's really apparent it's coming from right underneath me.

If the gaskets not wasted you can always try copper seal.

Yeah it's probably gonna be raspy without a resonator but the rasp should be coming out of the exhaust end, not mid car

What I thought to but its hard for me to judge since I'm always the one driving and I'm not listening from the passenger side nor outside as it flies by lol
