New projectors, Chrome or Black for a Vic Red?

Gonna be dropping some cash on new headlights since I've had a H1 kit sitting round forever.
Rico confirms these newer ones are H1's, and they're plug and play.. plus they look nicer than the first gen ones. CCFL's take H7's so those are out for me.
I can't decide which would look better on my Vic Red SS/SC though, help me decide!

Yea from ebay.
Rico installed them, he helped me make the decision on whether or not to get em. You can see his pics here: http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g2...rico07/cobalt/ (hope he doesn't mind me reposting it lol)

Looks like black is winning so far, I was leaning towards black in the beginning but I wanted to get a 2nd opinion.

As for them leaking, I'm not sure if they do or not, but if they do I'll reseal them. Not hard to do. I guess we can tell you in a month or if they leak or not, I'm gonna place the order tomorrow.

yeah to have chrome headlights you pretty much need a chrome bumper and grill to make it all look good and go together.. these new style projectors dont look to bad in chrome though.. they just dont really go with our cars though...

I have the chrome, and love them, but i have the grill, tailights, wheels (gunmetal, close enough) and rear grills to match.

But if you have dark tint, black grills, and black wheels, definately go black.

Those are the "JDM" headlights. Not bad IMO I just don't like the LED placement.
