if i buy the gmpp performance exhaust wil i have problems with it in new york? Does anyone what the decibles for a exhaust is suppose to be in new york?

 

down here in south florida you can get a ticket for loud exhaust(like civics lol) but they really dont enforce it all down here. You live in new york so thats another story.

 

well i live in new york and they noticed my exhasut (corsa sport) and they pulled me over 2 times for it and idk, idk how loud the gmpp one is compared to my corsa so idk ull have to check up on this

 

I have the pacesetter, its louder than ****, and I never get pulled over

 

u can get pulled over....but it really depends on the cop...some dont care, some do. but they really dont give u a ticket...all they will say is fix that or next time ill give u a ticket...its not a really inforced law. if u go to the city...yeah then it is.

 

lmfao the best is when i told the state trooper my exhasut was factory lmfao hes like r u srue im like yeah its a speacial editon exhaust that comes with a package to buy the car with hes like oo ok thats cool and then wrote me a ticket for speeding lol so i got out of 1 ticket

 

there are so many ricers here that must be breaking the law with how loud their setup is and i never see any of them getting pulled over, also this one guy in town, trixie has a nice loud balt and havnt seen him pulled over yet. Id say if it have a chevy bow tie on it or says GM somewhere on it i dont think a cop will give you a hard time.

 

the only time u will get pulled over if u had paul's old exhaust setup...hahah sorry paul...but yeah in nyc they are crackin down for that. too many ricers out there.
